WINDSOR, June 12, 2021 – Épelle-moi Canada (ÉMC) is pleased to inform you that it has received funding from Canadian Heritage for the project: French in a 3D environment for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.
This funding is part of the Canadian Heritage Program: Enhancement of Official Languages, Second-Language Learning component. The goal of the project is to set up activities in French in the form of workshops in different topics (Francization, Socialization, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Tutoring & Sport-Well-being) in which young people aged 6 to 16 from different Canadian regions (Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, British Columbia) will be able to participate within the immersive virtual campus-EMC (CVI).
As a result, the CVI creates a safe and inclusive environment where young people from different regions and cultures can continue to interact and thrive in French according to their interests.
