WINDSOR, July 30, 2021 – Épelle-moi Canada (ÉMC) is pleased to inform you that it has received funding from Canadian Heritage for the project: "Me, young Franco entrepreneur! " for fiscal year 2021-2022.

The Initiative Moi, Jeune Entrepreneur Franco! aims to stimulate the learning of the French language through the business world and develop entrepreneurship among young people aged 8 to 16. It is designed to help young people learn more about the business world and start their own small businesses. Through a series of workshops focused on adventure and exploration, participants will learn basic business skills while enriching and reinvesting their French vocabulary in this area. ECS is targeting 60 youth in the following regions of Windsor-Essex, Toronto & Ottawa to participate in the initiative.

The implementation of the initiative will be done through virtual workshops organized in the evenings and on weekends, led by professionals from the world of entrepreneurship. The workshops will be offered virtually to reach more youth.

At the end of the workshops, young people will be asked to present their business plan in their respective communities face-to-face (taking into account public health recommendations) or virtually.
